The AI layer industrial automation has always been missing.

Syniq is a chat assistant trained on real automation documentation. Ask anything about IEC 61131-3, TIA Portal, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or any PLC standard — and get answers cited back to the page.

Standards-aware chat

IEC 61131-3, S7-1200/1500, ControlLogix, TwinCAT, Profinet, Profibus, OPC UA — plain English or ladder shorthand.

Works with your project

Drop in your own files

Attach PDFs, datasheets, L5X exports, or HMI screenshots — parsed per-session, in the context of your project.

L5X fault analysis

Upload a Studio 5000 export for faults ranked by severity, with the routine, rung, and a suggested fix.

Built for your team

Knowledge that grows

Admins upload manuals and SOPs once. Every engineer gets the same answer, from the same source.

Your data stays yours

Per-session files are wiped on close. Nothing trains a public model.

A general-purpose model doesn't know your hardware.

Syniq is built for one job — and that's why engineers trust it on the plant floor.

General LLM

Helpful, but unverifiable

  • ×Confident-sounding answers with no citation
  • ×Confuses Siemens and Rockwell terminology
  • ×Hallucinates instruction names and parameters
  • ×Won't read your L5X or PDF datasheets natively
  • ×No org-wide knowledge base
Syniq

Grounded in real documentation

  • Every answer cites the manual, page, and section
  • Vendor-aware — knows the difference between OB35 and Periodic Task
  • Says "I don't know" when the docs don't cover it
  • Reads PDFs, L5X exports, and HMI screenshots
  • Shared knowledge base across your team

Built by engineers who got tired of guessing.

Industrial automation runs the world — water, power, food, pharma, semiconductors. The documentation is dense, fragmented across vendors, and locked in PDFs. Syniq is the AI layer that finally makes it queryable.

We started Syniq after watching senior engineers spend hours digging through manuals to answer questions a junior would have, just because the answer was buried on page 412 of a 700-page PDF. The knowledge exists. It's just hard to reach.

Things engineers usually ask first.

Where do the answers actually come from?+
From a vector index built on top of vendor manuals, IEC standards, and any documents your admin uploads. Every reply links to the source so you can verify the original page yourself.
Will Syniq train on my conversations or files?+
No. Per-session attachments are wiped when the chat ends. Knowledge-base uploads stay scoped to your workspace. Nothing you send Syniq is used to train a public model.
Which platforms are supported?+
Siemens S7-1200/1500 (TIA Portal), Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix (Studio 5000), Beckhoff TwinCAT, Mitsubishi GX Works, plus IEC 61131-3, Profinet, Profibus and OPC UA standards. We add platforms based on customer demand.
What happens when Syniq doesn't know something?+
It says so. We've explicitly tuned the system to refuse rather than guess. You'll see something like "I would need a bit more context to answer accurately" — at which point you can attach a relevant manual or rephrase.
Can I run Syniq on-prem or air-gapped?+
Not yet. We're building a self-hosted appliance for sites with strict OT network policies — get in touch if you want to be on the early-access list.
How accurate is it really?+
Engineers verify. Always. Syniq exists to point you at the right page faster than a manual scan — it's not a replacement for your judgement, and we'd rather you treat it that way.
Do I need an invite to sign up?+
No. Create an account with your email and you can start asking questions straight away — 50 a day on the free tier, no card needed.
